The True Immortals are a group of former veterans who are loyal to Nitemare and took over Medici with an iron fist. They serve as the main antagonists of Just Cause: Revenge.
Founding[]
The True Immortals were founded after Nitemare killed Michael Castoro for lying to him about his past. About a year later, Nitemare reemerged from hiatus with 3 men in tow and took over Medici with ease. With Medici once again oppressed, these 3 men would each gain a region to oversee and reign over. All of this turned out to be a lure for Rico Rodriguez to come back to, which succeeded. starting the events of Just Cause: Revenge.
Events of Just Cause: Revenge[]
When the game first starts, Rico is almost instantly attacked by their soldiers after arriving. After killing them all, Rico heads for Insula Forte first in an attempt to figure out what's going on.
After entering the island of Soros, he sees Cava de Rebelles in complete tatters and dead rebels scattered everywhere. Then he's sees a familiar sight, Mario Frigo hiding behind a rock. Rico asks Mario what's going on. Before Mario can respond however, The True Immortals arrive with Ronan O' Kenny, the one who controls Insula Forte. Ronan attempts to find Rico And Mario, but they manage to get away by boat and head straight for Le Galera, the only base that was never occupied by the regime.
