Mario found some random Infimo S lying about and thought 'Hmm... I wonder if I could strap a wing, a splitter and put a rally engine in that'. He did that, and thus, he created the Infimo R, an Infimo that could actually have a use. Everyone in Medici started buying these kits and they became widespread.
