This article is about a special custom machine gun in fiction by GMRE.
Description and development history[]
This is a special ultimate machine gun. More specifically, the machine gun itself is a completely normal medium machine gun. What makes it special are all the custom additional parts.
Basically, the weapon was once purchased by a mad scientist, who noticed that not only is it quite uncomfortable to use in its recommended prone position, but the weapon leaves its user completely defenseless from possible enemy weapons.
He set out to improve it until all its flaws were fixed.
First, he attached the MG to a special frame, that was then attached to a comfortable seat. This is so the user wouldn't have to lie in mud and would have a better view of the surrounding area. Then, he constructed (or more like designed and had some workers build it for him) a box of armour around the whole thing. He had the box equipped with all types of high-end aiming gear and optical equipment. Next, he noticed that the box would be rather inconvenient to transport and set up, so he had an additional armoured box attached to it that would contain an engine and a fuel tank and the bottom of the box was given tracks to make it mobile. Upon test driving it, he noticed that it took an unreasonable amount of time to aim the weapon, so he had a brilliantly mad idea: Make the highest part of the box a separate box that would hold the machine gun and which could be separately rotated on top of the rest of the machinery.
He then took a good look at his ultimate machine gun and figured it's pretty good. Just then one of his assistants asked him what he plans on doing when he runs into an enemy who also has special MG improvements, like some armoured box. At that point the scientist apparently facepalmed and ordered the addition of a bigger, longer and thicker additional gun into the rotatable top area. The gun was to be able to make a loud enough bang to blow up any enemy armoured box equipped machine guns.
And thus, the ultimate machine gun was created!
Performance[]
Traverses nearly any terrain and makes plenty of loud bangs when necessary. Also protects its user from inconvenient weather.
Locations[]
- Unlocked at the heavy/supply/rebel/black/drop/market once the player discovers and collects all 12 "Weapon-system key-components". The components must be transported to either a Frigo and Etcetera automotive workshop, or any safehouse with a large garage.
- Castle and resort, once unlocked for drop.
