Equipment[]
With most resources going to the military or rebuilding cities, most of the police equipment is not standard. Officers are issued 9mm pistols but can purchase a personal sidearm if they wish. Each police car carries an automatic rifle and a shotgun. The QRF and Special Operations officers can be seen wearing heavy body armor and carrying automatic weapons.
Many different vehicles are used depending on unit and location.

Unit types[]
The police force is divided into regional commands, encompassing each individual region of Solis. Regional units include Patrol/Response officers, the local traffic police, criminal investigators and the regional Quick Reaction Force. Some units are based under the National Police Command, including the Special Operations Group, Aviation Unit, and Highway Patrol.

Quick Reaction Force
Aviation Unit - The aviation unit provides overwatch, aerial intelligence, pursuit support, and various other purposes across the nation. They use two AS355 helicopters donated by the United States. One aircraft is located in Nueva Voz, and one is based out of Aeropuerto General Benitez
Highway Patrol - Tasked with enforcing traffic laws and preventing the use of highways for trafficking/smuggling or other criminal activity. They operate from various outposts along the the highways. They use pursuit rated vehicles, including motorcycles and unmarked vehicles.
