Rico the Professional is a side mission in IronClaw's Just Cause X: Global eXchange. To start this mission, Wrong place, right time must be completed first.
Introduction[]
Don Palmiera of the Rioja Cartel is glad to know that Rico is alive and well after all those years, but he wants to ask for a favor. Ever since the operation in San Esperito, the drug cartel has expanded its operations to international scale, and therefore competes with other global syndicates, such as the Russian Bratva.
The Rioja boss asks Rico to assassinate one of his former associates, Gonzales, who betrayed the Cartel to the Black Hand. For just a few days, he's stationed in a hotel of the Kyungastani second largest city, Bagirovsk. Rico can decline or accept the offer.
Walkthrough[]
You should not raise any heat before reaching the hotel (or else Gonzales will flee and the mission is over). The main entrance is locked, so you have to use the roof access. It's guarded by the private security guards and local mobsters. They are not a part of Kyungstani law enforcement, so you are clear to engage them. They are armed with URGA UPP2010s and shotguns and they do not wear any body armor so they're pretty easy to dispatch. After killing all the guards, proceed to the hotel and get down to elevator shaft by using a grappler. After fighting with some more mobsters, go and get Gonzales who is hiding behind the desk. The don asks Rico to make the defector suffer, so you should not just kill him, but tether him to the roof and electrocute several times before he dies.
