Rico and Di Ravello is the sixth mission of Heat Level 6.
Plot[]
Day 7598. A full month has passed since I blew the bridge into Insula Striate. The Medici Military has been thus far confined to Insula Striate, but there have been attempts to invade Insula Fonte. So far, that has been in vain, as New Medici Military forces have been able to hold the coast against Urga Mstitels. I do not know how much longer Citate Di Ravello can hold. The city is reminiscent of 1942 Stalingrad, or 1996 Sarajevo. Only the tall buildings stand. But everything else is in ruins. Fierce hand to hand combat has emerged in the streets and vehicle wrecks are everywhere.
Rico is still fighting in Citate Di Ravello. The city has been under siege for over a month, but the fighting is only getting started.
In other news, the U.S. and Russian governments today saw coups by unidentified rebels and Ultra-nationalists respectively. The U.S. and Russian ground forces have engaged in full blown assault as our current conflict becomes absorbed into World War III. Glad to know the SAP-2187 remains hidden from everyone minus a select few.
Rico keeps fighting. The mission slowly evolves into a series of sub-missions within the mission. For example, assassinating some high ranking officer or destroying a convoy.
Day 7963. Much time has passed since my last entry. One year has passed since World War III started. The initial U.S. and Russian forces pulled out of Medici shortly after hostilities after seeing no point in fighting on a foreign land. The world is devastated after a nuclear exchange, leaving only China, France, Germany, Italy, Medici, Russia, the United Kingdom, California, Texas, the U.S. East Coast, and occupied Alaska.
On one positive note, the numbers of IBTs and Mstitels seem to be getting thinner. Perhaps the numbers are finally starting to die down?
