The Prospero Kilimanjaro is a missile corvette in IronClaw's Just Cause X series.
Appearance[]
Kilimajaro is an escort and patrol ship developed by Grupo Prospero to replace Black Hand's aging arsenal of TechMach Kasatkas. Like all Prospero designs it's very cheap, maintenance-free and easy to produce, yet very reliable despite low cost. It generally serves as a Coast Guard vessel for the Solis Pact countries, but many private enterprises and petty micro-nations often use it as their primary attack ship for their small "navy".
Just Cause X2: Defy Extinction[]
Kilimanjaro is the backbone of Endron Naval forces deployed on Askabjǫð island chain. Its firepower is unmatched by anything that rebels could use against it, excluding airstrikes preformed by F6 Comets. These ships and smaller Warhound gunboats dominate Askabjǫð shoreline until the end of Act I.
Task Force Firecat use these vessels to escort larger ships and for logistical duties.
Performance[]
Kilimanjaro is an excellent naval ship for the Act I and is still pretty capable till mid-Act II. It has mighty armor plating, capable to deflect anything up to 120 mm artillery or tank fire, and even then it'll take about half a dozen direct hits before sinking. It's own weaponry is pretty heavy; for close range it uses 80 mm autocannon, and at long distances the ship could lay down a barrage of heavy missiles, using mini-map to designate the target.
