The New Medici Military is a faction in New and Improved Medici.
Not to be confused with New Medici Military (Heat Level 6).
Description[]
They are former members of the Rebellion who are now the official military of Medici after Di Ravello's death. Among them are a few old Medici Military units who changed sides near the end of the civil war.
Most of the Rebellion simply disbanded when there was no more need for them, so the New Medici Military is less than half as large as it was at the end of the war, but the remaining units are the most elite ones.
In Di Ravellos time the military relied on a mandatory military service to fill most of the army, but now that Medici is moderately wealthy, they can afford to rely on an entirely payed military.
Most of the old Medici Military bases were not reconstructed after their destruction by Rico. Among those that were, the largest is Porto Cavo.
Weaponry[]
- Just about everything from Just Cause 3, except for the super rare and unique weapons that only Rico had.
- They have purchased a couple thousand Rotor Industries ATAWs to help patrol the coasts of Insula Striate from Bavarium smuggling.
- They have purchased 1 Ballard M5C2 CSV for evaluation. It's stored at Porto Cavo.
- They have ordered 200 SAAS-Harland SPG-M18 self propelled guns by 2019, with 25 having been delivered by early 2018.
- Thanks to the Medici Department of Infrastructure, they own several LIFT-MM Bomber Drones.
