Motunui is the largest and 'main' island of Hawaiki, in Just Cause: Hawaiki. It is home to the largest city in the nation, and military capital Whāremana.

Motunui and the smaller nearby landmass of Motu'ahine make up the two largest non-volcanic, non-atoll islands in Hawaiki. Together, the islands constitute a large majority of the land for Hawaiki and lay on the same geological ridge. They are distinct for their cooler central highland plateaus and alpine regions in addition to the typical tropical climate seen elsewhere in Hawaiki.
Motunui hosts the greater population out of the pair with far more forgiving relief that has allowed for the development of a vast temperate highland agriculture industry, as well as a sugarcane industry supported by a railway in the warmer lower altitude regions.
