The Mako Infernus is a weapon in IronClaw's Just Cause X: Global eXchange series, Just Cause Unity and it's sequels.
Description[]
A highly sophisticated weapon, the Infernus uses superheated hydrogen plasma to burn through flesh and armor alike. It was developed specifically for urban combat to "clean up" buildings in close-quarters combat.
It's a weapon of choice for both USMC and Black Hand heavy troopers when they fight indoors.
Performance[]
It can kill any kind of infantry unit in less then a second of exposure, and even Rico won't last much longer. It will also burn through most types of armor, making it's perfect for hijacking "elite" (such as Russian peacekeepers) enemy vehicles without struggling with a driver. The only problem with Infernus is that it has a relatively bad effective range.
