Jailbreak is the twenty-third mission in Just Cause 4: Sakaku.

Plot[]

Day 44. December 7th, 2017.

Rico's unchecked advance is storming towards Sydaku. One of the Sakakan Armed Forces officers tells Rico that ever since they were forced out of the city, Sydaku had become a notorious death camp for the amount of incarcerated prisoners. Rico vows to free them all.

Exactly 76 years to the point where the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked Pearl Harbor, Rico Rodriguez launched a surprise attack on the city of Sydaku. The CLA quickly regroup and try to fend off Rico's advance. However, the Eldrith Tech ED-001 is not something that is easily defeated.

Rico fires into the police station and annihilates the CLA.

Inside the police station, Rico frees all the prisoners, numbering 20 in total. All of them kneel before Rico, before one of them stands up. She appears to be the only female prisoner, but all the men still remain kneeling.

Let me guess... you are some kind of leader.

Yes. Sakakan Army major. I was captured trying to hold this city. The CLA will PAY for what they did to my family! They slaughtered them clean!

(Would've guessed so) thought Rico. Well now is your chance for revenge. How would you like it if you and your men were to be a strike team? You know, special operations, deep cover, that kind of stuff?

And what's your name? I don't exactly like calling people by their rank only.

Allison.

Well met Major Allison. Now, take your time reentering the fray!

A pseudo-side mission feature is now unlocked where Rico does not directly engage in actual sidemissions but follows along on certain "events". Rico can choose either to monitor the event's progress, or he can continue liberating settlements.

Daraku is liberated shortly after, and this time, the military garrison at Canbkaku is overrun, liberating it from decades of Communist Liberation Army rule.
