Improved Black Market system for JC2

The improved Black Market system for JC2 is a part of fiction by GMRE.

Introduction

The idea is to overhaul the Black Market system of JC2.

The game has 2 Black Markets. There's the player-usable Agency Black Market and then there's an unusable black market run by colonel Baratham.

Imagine if the system had these following markets:

Agency Black Market

This would function same as normal, but the sawed-off shotgun, the pistol, the assault rifle and the machine gun would not be available here anymore.

• The Agency Black Market would be the only starting market, but it would also have the highest prices.
• It would only accept "USD" as payment.
• Market exclusive advantage: The only place to buy Agency vehicles and any of the DLC weapons. Also not limited by requirement to be near roads, or rivers.

Colonel Barathams Black Market

It would be static location hidden near Kampung Pokok Ru (where he is stationed), similarly to how the Reapers HQ is somewhat out of the way and hidden.

It would have a single corrugated metal shack (the curved building seen at some bases), surrounded by several sandbag walls and a single wooden guard tower. There would always be a military Fengding EC2 Lift‎‎ present. 2-3 military grunts would also be present.

Upon approaching this place, a random faction car would spawn here, along with 2 faction grunts.

With in this area they would not shoot at eachother and any heat would disappear when the player arrives, similar to faction HQs.

• Colonel Barathams Black Market would accept "Panauan Bucks" and "USD".
• This market would be available from the start of the game, but the player would have to discover the location first.
• To use the market, the player has to walk to the door and use the interact button to open the market HUD.
• This market would sell: Pistols, Assault Rifles, Machine Guns, Grenades and the Rocket Launcher.
• Market exclusive advantage: Always lowest prices.

Needless to say, if any harm should come to colonel Baratham, this market will close. No more NPCs would spawn here and the location would nolonger reduce heat.

Ular Boys Tribal Friendship

The market would be unlocked upon completing Power Surge (their first stronghold mission). They could be called via the PDA and they would arrive at any coastal area outside of settlement/base limits.

The arriving market vehicle would be a Zhejiang 6903 barge. It would have a shipping container on it and 4 mounted miniguns. There would be 5 crewmen (driver and 1 for each minigun).

• They only accept "Panauan Bucks".
• Initially the only weapons would be the Sawed-off Shotgun and the Pistol.
• Initially the only vehicle would be a Hamaya Y250S.
• The prices would start high, but collecting Skulls would create a discount %.
• Completing missions for the Ulars would unlock more things:
  • Weapons: Submachine Gun, Assault Rifle, Machine Gun.
  • Vehicles: Saas PP12 Hogg, Chevalier Express HT (with a Mounted Gun), Peek Airhawk 225 (with 4 machine guns, like a WW2 fighter).

Reapers Glorious Brotherhood

The market would be unlocked upon completing Rocket Science (their first stronghold mission). They could be called via the PDA and they would arrive at any roadside, outside of settlement/base limits.

They would arrive with a Niseco Tusker D18 that would be escorted by 2 of Marten Storm III (armed version).

• The Reapers are communists, so they wouldn't care for money, but they'd accept "Red Prestige Points".
• The prices would start high, but collecting Black Boxes would create a discount %.
• Initially the only weapons would be the Sawed-off Shotgun and the Revolver.
• Initially the only vehicle would be a Mosca 125 Performance.
• The Reapers Glorious Brotherhood would get only 1 upgrade that expands the available stuff. This would be for completing A Second Amendment (the desert supply depot). This would unlock:
  • Weapons: Submachine Gun, Grenades, Rocket Launcher.
  • Vehicles: Hamaya GSY650, MV Quartermaster, GV-104 Razorback.

Roaches Underground Movement

The market would be unlocked upon completing Free Trade (their first stronghold mission). They could be called via the PDA and they would arrive at any coastal area outside of settlement/base limits.

They would arrive with a usual unmarked Vanderbildt LeisureLiner.

• They would accept both "Panauan Bucks" and "USD".
• The prices would start high, but collecting Drug Drops would create a discount %.
• Initially the only weapons would be the Sawed-off Shotgun and the Submachine Gun.
• Initially the only vehicle would be a Makoto MZ 250.
• Completing missions for them would unlock more stuff for the market:
  • Weapons: Triggered Explosives, Grenade Launcher, Sniper Rifle.
  • Vehicles: Sakura Aquila Metro ST, Saas PP30 Ox (with a mounted driver-operated grenade launcher), Winstons Amen 69 (with a driver-operated rocket launcher turret).

Special currencies

• "USD" - Could be earned by completing Agency missions and completing some challenges.
• "Panauan Bucks" - Could be earned by completing some Ular and Roaches missions, completing some challenges, liberating some settlements and possibly by some other minor sidemissions.
• "Red Prestige Points" - Could be earned by completing Reapers missions and by helping out the Reapers when ever they hare having random shootouts with the Panau Military.
