The Império Valente B.2 is a heavy bomber in the Just Cause: ilha do carrasco fan fiction project.

Description[]

The Império Valente is a heavy bomber of British origin that was later rebuilt and upgraded by a joint consortium of Brazilian and Portugese manufacturers, later known collectively as Império. The type initially entered service in the 1960s with both of the manufacturers' home countries, and has since seen wide export success, prompting many upgrades allowing it to perform a wide array of tasks.

Whilst currently being rather unpopular with air forces, mainly due to an overall preference for smaller, more versatile craft, it nearly saw action in the conflicts in Medici and Solís with The Agency, before being withdrawn both times due to the massively deteriorating situations both countries were in at that time. However, as 5 Valentes were transferred to Solís briefly during the conflict there, Rico's army managed to capture 3 of them before they could stage a resistance.

The Army of Chaos is currently producing these bomber en-masse and they were used significantly in the events of the Just Cause: ilha do carrasco fan fiction project. They transported Rico Rodriguez to ilha do carrasco in 2019 and began the initial starting operation of the game, Operation Hellfire and were heavily involved the final mission, Liberator of Worlds.

Trivia[]

  • The Valente has had a confirmed production run of over 350.
  • Agency Valentes differ from the B.2 and come in 3 different variants: one for Anti-insurgency, one for purely small-range heavy bombing, and one which is a very long range variant. Exact specifics on these models differ depending on user.
  • The B.1 variant was quickly retired in 1970 due to a tendency for the wings to rip off.
  • A civilian variant, the Império I-11 "Andes" was proposed in the 1980s before being cancelled due to financial difficulties after the failure of the Império IX-10.
  • This is among the largest planes in the game, only being beaten majorly by the Império IC-2 "Jezza".
