The Gatling tank is a large tank built by the Medici Military in Just Cause 5: The evil Agency.
Description[]
The Gatling tank is a large tank with a crew of four, and a distinct rotating three-barrel design, hence the name Gatling tank.
History[]
The Gatling tank was made in 1956 from old World War II tank parts that never saw use, and these were left in warehouses until later being discovered in 2013 while cleaning out warehouses.
They were found intriguing by General Di Ravello who assigned them to various small military outposts until in 2015 discovered that Rico was coming back to Medici. After that, he panicked and assigned them to major bases then ordered the construction of more units to prepare for Rico's arrival.
Then The Agency found out about these and realized their potential, leading them to make a deal with Di Ravello. During and after the Medician Revolution these were used to protect towns in Medici. Some of these tanks were taken to history museums after the revolution.
During the Medician revolution, The Agency was perfecting the design, but wouldn't finish doing so until the events in Solís.
Old design (Medici Military)[]
The design of the Gatling tank is similar to the M48A1 Patton but larger, and has a single cannon mechanism with three rotating barrels put together in a triangle formation, and a hand crank to rotate the barrel stack.
New design (The Agency)[]
The new design takes more after the M1 Abrams tank with much newer features and an automatic rotating function that automatically rotates the barrel stack after firing, along with a top machine gun and faster fire rate, making it superior to the old one.
