Switchboard (real name Elijah Marks) is a character in Just Cause IV: El Patrick and Just Cause: Futura.
History[]
Elijah was born in Missouri, U.S. during the Cold War into a former U.S. Navy family. He was almost made into a militant child by his father, but he took an interest in technology around the time of the Vietnam war. After losing his father in 1973 in Vietnam, he began tech as his main focus. When he turned 19, he joined the military, and became a giant technology and computer creator and fixer. He is also credited for creating Whamabah in 1982. In 1984 he earned his nickname "Switchboard" from his programming experience.
Events of Just Cause IV: El Patrick[]
Through a projection to the player in the beginning of The Great Southern Trendkill.
Switchboard first appears at the very beginning of the came, notifying Rico of the situation in El Patrick. Afterwards, he appears in Breathe, Spit, Walk as the mission informer. He then mostly informs Rico about what has to happen in the missions. He becomes a member of the Township Rebellion after said mission. He uses a Davis CPM-32 as his main weapon.
He is killed by Don Everest in the mission The Great Southern Trendkill. He also drives a customized WAM Rumbler to carry all of his equipment.
