The Eldrith Tech Consortium was founded by Joseph Eldrith, Otto Kleiner and a mysterious figure known only as "the White Rajah" back in the 1980s. It was a primary competitor of the eDEN Corporation, but this was a more successful corporation. While eDEN participated in many fields of research, Eldrith Tech put all of its efforts into creating powerful weapons of mass destruction and various "advanced" weapon platform projects, such as gravity repulsors, hover tanks and plasma rifles.
The company become so successful in the 2000s, it expanded to develop civilian and law enforcement projects as well, such as flying cars and powered armor for riot control police. Still, it mostly remained one of the biggest defense contractors in the world, only falling behind Capstone and URGA.
By 2020, Eldrith Tech is the "top tier" weapon and vehicle manufacturer. It produces gravitic, plasma, laser and electromagnetic ordinance of extreme magnitudes. All of its vehicles do come with shields, and some have anti-gravitic engines. Those are extremely expensive, however, and are often unique, with less than a few dozen vehicles ever made.
To cut such expenses, Eldrith Tech often works in cooperation with other defense contractors. For example, URGA Buran and Rage-Johnston Tigerclaw were made by Eldrith blueprints. It also works closely with DARPA.
By 2024, they had started making a lot of moves into the civilian sector, examples include the Eldrith Tech XS2 Gravity Sailor and the Eldrith Tech FPT1. Most of these simply remain prototypes.
Their headquarters is called Eldrith Atlantic Operations Centre.
History in Just Cause 4: Sakaku[]
In 2025, an experiment gone wrong resulted in the loss of all private funding and support, which brought the corporation in this universe to the brink of bankruptcy.
However, before 2050, they had developed an ability to create portals to the past. They exploited this ability to try and rewrite the past.
By 2050, they have taken over the globe and absorbed all companies worldwide into their reach.
One company, however, fought against the rise of this company and now is the only resistance to them.
One of their portals found its way to 2017 Sakaku, in the middle of the Siege of Sakaku. Rico subsequently made his way through the portal in It's About Time and started wrecking havoc in Eldrith Tech-occupied Earth.
In Just Cause X2: Defy Extinction[]
