The Eubus Airliner 474 is a passenger aircraft in Just Cause: Hjallesund and Just Cause: Hawaiki.

Description[]

"Built from the ashes of failures and the embers of success, Eubus opened its doors in the late 1970s producing the 280, a fierce competitor for American models. The brand was formed as a coalition of manufacturers from around the European Union. It soon went toe to toe with America's strongest market- the narrow body airliner, with the 474 in 1983, toppling America's dominance in the industry." - In game description.

Appearance[]

It's just an average, and modern short-mid ranged narrowbody airliner. The design is identical to that used in Just Cause 2 as the Aeroliner 474, however some versions shown in game appear to be modernized versions of the aircraft, thereby taking a lot of inspiration from the Airbus A320neo family of aircraft.

It is operated by many airlines, most notably Ilmastointi Hjallesund and Hawaiki Pacific, the national airlines of both games it's featured in.

There are three different airframe types, the standard being the 474, the shortened being the 470 and the extended being the 480, corresponding to different types in the A320 family in real life.

There are also the differing model generations, the -100 being the older variant appearing identical to that appearing in Just Cause 2 and the -200 being more modern, most notably with larger engines and improved aerodynamics such as a revised wing shape and extended winglets. The larger 480 can only spawn as a -200 model. The older variants are considerably rarer to find in Hawaiki and Hjallesund.

Performance[]

It's quite quick for it's type, but takes off and lands at an average rate and performs otherwise averagely. The larger and smaller variants don't make a noticeable performance change. The older variants are slower in acceleration and have a different engine sound.
