The Eldrith Tech X108 is a vehicle in IronClaw's Just Cause X: Global eXchange series.
Appearance[]
These mobile gravity repulsion systems are the top end solution for anti-aircraft warfare of the 2020s. In theory, they might make surface to air missiles obsolete in the near future - but at this point, gravity repulsion tech is too large, very hard to maintain (as it requires exotic materials even apart from Bavarium), and is astronomically expensive. On the other hand, it can utterly destroy any aircraft and even missiles, such as anti-radar AGM-88 HARM or even ballistic ones in its active radius.
Few of those systems were deployed by the Russian Federation on Kyungastani Joska island to restrict American air support to Marine troops, but all of those were eventually destroyed by Rico and other Agency operatives.
Much more of these complexes were stationed on Air Exchange Satation and were actively used by the Black Hand to restrict enemy aircraft flights over the site.
Performance[]
During Act II of the JCX, they only appear as static mission objectives on the Love My Way chapter. Rico must destroy them to let American aircraft access to skies over Koska. In the Act III however, these are located all around the AirEx facility, making a no-fly zone at strategic areas of the base. In these case, they are protected by the Bavarium field generators and can't be harmed.
