The Eldrith Tech ARM is an armored walker/mech in IronClaw's Just Cause X: Global eXchange series.
Appearance[]
The concept of humanoid heavy walker was originally developed for law enforcement to serve as a near-perfect "riot control" device, as this is able to stop cold any kind of protest, break through barricades and is invulnerable to small arms fire and "Molotov cocktails". It was then re-purposed for military purposes as well, as its size and power came handy for loading, construction, and maintenance operations. The ARM suit was not designed for combat, and therefore lacks shields and heavy armor, as well as appropriate weaponry. However, organizations like Black Hand and Agency Shadow Ops often "upgrade" the mech with custom 30-mm automatic cannons for self-defense. These machines can be found only at AirEx station.
Performance[]
The mech is versatile in terms of movement; it can jump, leap and "sprint", as well as kicking objects in "melee" fight. It's pretty vulnerable, though, and it's firepower is not good enough for Act III. So it's mostly good for recon operations in the heavily industrialized environment of the A1ir Exchange Facility.
Trivia[]
- It's made by Eldrith Tech Consortium.
- It's inspired by Avatar's AMP suit.
- While the AMR only appears at AirEx Base, unlike other rare vehicles it can be replicated by steriolitography and will be available via Agency Drops.
