The Eldrith Tech ARD is a walker tank/mech in IronClaw's Just Cause X: Global eXhange series.
Appearance[]
As their gravitic hover-tanks were considered too expensive (almost as Buran tanks, but lacking its firepower) and unimaginably hard to maintain, Eldrith Tech consortium considered another solution - a walker vehicle. It lacks plasma cannon and miniature reactors that provide long-lasting shielding for V77 and Buran platforms, but it could be constructed ad hocum (on the spot) via stereolitographic plants.
While they are still in the field testing stage, ARDs have already been purchased by Black Hand and the Agency Shadow Ops Brigade, serving as their equivalent of MBTs in a battle for AirEx Facility.
This mech can be called for support by using Command Points system.
Performance[]
The ARD has a considerably better preformance then "conventional" tanks like the Bokser or CS Fulda, but falls behind the V77 plasma tank and, of course, the mighty Buran. The mech has a powerful shielding (similar to Urga Mstitel) and a devastating 150-mm cannon, making it a force to be reckoned with. It somewhat lacks in speed, but has a decent maneuverability, being able to roll around on it's "legs" like the original eDEN Mech.
