Downfall is a spin-off game of Just Cause 4: Karthstan, set in the First Karthstani Civil War.
Plot[]
Set during the First Karthstani Civil War around the years 1955 and 1959, the player is an unnamed Royal Protector of the royal family who has just been killed by a group of AWOL soldiers. With no job, no purpose, and a civil war, he must do whatever it takes to survive and find the man who caused you to lose your job.
Gameplay[]
Downfall is an open world first-person shooter game inspired by the Far Cry games, mainly the second and third game. The player has various elements to hunt and craft weapons, take outposts for a faction, and complete side quests.
For the first time ever, the player can craft homemade vehicles and take part in gunsmith crafting.
There are three factions: the Democrats, the Socialists, and the Royalists. However, there are two endings and none of them affects the Democrats' victory in the end.
