The Dongtai Battle Tractor S is a vehicle in fiction by GMRE.

Appearance[]
It's an agricultural tractor that tows a 4-wheeled flatbed trailer that carries a small-caliber mortar and/or a tripod-mounted AT missile launcher. Technically, these vehicles can also be defined as a type of self propelled artillery.
Yes, you read that right. 
Development history[]
Panau is quite poor after all their infrastructure was destroyed by Rico and their nation was further devastated by the faction wars, so they can't really afford the latest technology.
The new Panau Military ordered some low-price infantry support vehicles from the Dongtai tractor company. Dongtai managed to keep the cost very low by obtaining some old Scando Battle Tractor Mk.2s, overhauling the tractors and replacing their armament with something more useful for Panau.

Performance?
The tractor is quite slow and relatively easy to spot. It carries weapons so light that putting the weapons on the back seat of a basic car (to be manually taken outside for use) would probably result in higher combat effectiveness. This big unarmored vehicle makes these light weapons easier to spot and to destroy. And a basic car would be faster for transport too, but the tractor can go off road.

In Panau, after the events of Just Cause 2. Panau has a total of 45 of these.
- Often spotted during army exercises.
- Very rarely in traffic in rural areas.
- Parked at a few bases.
- Occasionally they use these vehicles to transport random supplies, with crates on the trailer.
Trivia[]
- These vehicles (see also: Scando Battle Tractor Mk.2) were actually developed by north Korea. This specific armament version was first seen in a parade in 2021.09.09.
- The Ukraine war proved that tractors are occasionally more useful in a battle than tanks, so... the north koreans were on to something.
