Battlefield Trip is a mission in Operation Indigo.
Synopsis: Sargento has readied his troops for a raid.

Plot[]
A week passes while Sargento asks if Rico is ready for the raid, to which Sheldon informs him of Rico's condition. With that in mind, Sargento asks if Sheldon would like to accompany him, which he accepts. Right as they leave, Zhuinella comes back to check on Rico, letting Sheldon and Sargento know she will contact them as soon as his condition improves, but it will not be through electronic means.
They leave the haven and catch a ride on a stream of water headed east. During the ride, Sargento mentions that one of his scouts recovered a map left behind by Martinez detailing what he knew about the area. They land at the northern edge of Díetu, where the two see a field north of them. Hem already briefed Sargento on the region earlier and he wrote it down.
They enter the fields and see a farm close by, but before they can advance, a Merqet commercial plays and announces their new location in Inzítotl. The scene goes back to the farm as the army is already reconning the premises. They have their weapons at the ready, but Sheldon sees a dark figure going into the main building and a puff of dark blue smoke exiting the door, with the same figure following suit.
Sargento and his troops investigate the building while Sheldon tails the figure. On Sargento's end, the soldiers gather the supplies while Sargento picks up a phone dropped by the figure. He scrolls through the messages until he sees an email targeted at Rico. Meanwhile, Sheldon caught up to the figure, and when he removes the mask he finds out she is a holdover agent.
He tries getting answers from her, but an AOC sniper shoots her dead before she can utter a word. Sheldon sees Sargento hand gesturing, so he assumes he signaled the sniper to shoot her, but doesn't get mad at him as they can get information from the next agent. They take the water stream back to Jévr. Once there, they check on Rico, whose condition has still not changed. A light shines north of the province, setting up the next mission.

- The title is a portmanteau of the word "battlefield" and phrase "field trip".
