The Ballista is an easter egg weapon in the upcoming Just Cause 5: Warmonger fan fiction project. It is an large ancient ballista that spawns in hidden locations, and can be called in with a supply drop once it is found.

This weapon is largely a joke weapon and performs very poorly. It can only fire straight forward, so it cannot attack helicopters. Since it's a siege weapon, it turns and moves very slowly, and while the bolts instantly kill infantry and can deal heavy damage to cars if aimed right, they do very little damage against literally anything armored. When fired at infantry, the bolt will over-penetrate and launches any infantry it hits straight forward until they hit a surface, pinning them to it.
