The Ballard M6B1 is a vehicle in fiction by GMRE and New and Improved Medici.

Description[]
The Ballard Corporation began producing the M6 as of 1998. The vehicle is intended for the "main battle tank" role in nations that have a decent road network (not much need for tracks).

The M6B1 has several improvements over the older M5B1:
- Better shaped, pointier turret that deflects shots better (sloped armor).
- Front of the hull is differently shaped to improve the effectiveness of front sloped armor.
- All armor is made of newer and better composite armor.
- The rear ends of the side walls have storage containers outside of the armored hull.
- The main gun is a modern full-size main battle tank gun.
Performance[]
Slower than the M5 due to heavier armor and armament.
The main gun has about twice the effective range of the M5 and does more damage.
Locations[]
- The new San Esperitian government purchased these in 2007 to replace their older M5B1 Scouts after they lost most of them in their civil war.
- Several other countries probably also have them.
