Armed and Dangerous is a mission in Operation Indigo.
Plot[]
The mission starts with Mira, Rico, and Tom setting up camp on Playa de Boqueron. They are coming up with ways to get Rico's arm back, so Tom asks him where he took it off. He cannot remember, so Tom plants a chip in his ear. The way this works is by channeling through the inner ear, then travels through the auditory nerve. The brain gets this signal, then looks through his memories and sends the necessary information to the chip. After this process is complete, Tom removes it from Rico's ear, cleans it, and plugs it in his laptop.
While the coordinates load, the team pack the boat and get ready. The coordinates load off-screen, and they leave Colombia. As they head for the destination, Rico asks where they are going, with Tom explaining it came with the gear, and whoever packed the bag must have left it behind for some reason. An hour passes, and the scene unexpectedly transitions to the White House in Washington, D.C. It turns out that Sheldon's boss kept the arm to do research on it. She hopes it will bring light to Rico's backstory so she can better understand him. She brings it to an analyzer to see if anything is off about the man, and finds an anomaly in his DNA, giving him unknown advantages due to some weird lineage with an unknown family member.
Meanwhile the team is almost in the Panama Canal when they see it has been militarized by a new faction they do not know of yet. They attempt passing through the canal, but are surrounded by some members of this faction, who are cloaked for secrecy reasons. The cloaked people knock them unconscious. Once awake, the trio realize they are in a high security prison, and an inmate welcomes them to the prison, revealed to be in Washington, D.C. He tells them that the government finally caught up to Tom and Rico, and Mira was just a bonus bounty. Rico asks if he knows where his arm is, and he points at a lady flinging it around like keys. She walks by each cell, stopping at their cell to explain the situation. She introduces herself as Brook Warren, telling Rico that they need to talk.
Tom and Mira are both shocked at the whole situation, and grow worried for Rico's life. Brook brings him to a private room to revive his arm. He follows her to her laboratory and asks what is special about him. She informs him that when she gave the bag to Mira, she kept the arm for analyzing, the results of which were astounding. He has lineage with an unknown entity that gives him unknown changes in his DNA strands. After all this, she disinfects the arm and fuses it back on him.
To be continued...
