Ambushed is the sixth mission in Just Cause 4: Sakaku.

Day 9. January 29th, 2017.
Rico and the Sakakan Armed Forces are heading towards Sydaku at high speeds. They pass through a set of ruins. Suddenly, gunfire rings out from three sides.
"It's an ambush! Take cover!" shouts Rico.
It is an ambush. But there seem to be little rebels. In fact, there seemed to be very few soldiers at all. Yet the firing rate is huge.
"Hmm... something's off. All units, take cover behind the vehicles!" barks Rico.
Three minutes pass. Three elite CLA soldiers are ripped from their posts and dragged onto the streets by Rico's Protec G6 Retraction Device.
"Hmm... elites. I knew something seemed off."
"Shut up and give us death!"
"Uh...no. I will leave you to the military to handle."
*Screams and blows landing fill the air*
10 minutes pass.
"Okay. I think they've endured enough punishment. Lock them in the back car. I'm going to personally oversee them should they try anything. Now, move out!"
"Yes sir!"
A hour passes. Rico can now see Sydaku within his sights.
"Get ready men! Here's to liberating another city!"
Suddenly more gunfire rings out. Another ambush.
But this time, there are no ruins around. This time, AF "Snake" 01s and AF "Cobra" THs swooped down from the sky.
"Another ambush? I HATE THEM! With a passion! Ready the MV AA-11!"
15 minutes pass. The 10 attacking helicopters are reduced to nothing but smoldering wrecks. The hammer and sickle prominently emblazoned across the helicopter bottoms, now nothing but ruins.
Three hours pass. Sydaku and Daraku are cleansed of the CLA presence. However, Canbkaku proves a challenge and Rico orders a retreat. In all three settlements, ambushes were everywhere. Elite CLA troops to normal grunts appear very commonly. But the MV AA-11 held on.
06:00 PM. January 29th, 2017. A SAF officer walks to up to Rico and says "Sir. We need a break. I think the troop morale is taking a bit of a toll with all the ambushing about today."
"Okay. Tell the men they can have the next twelve hours to do whatever they want."
"Yes sir."
