The Alexander C170 is a vehicle in Ironclaws's Just Cause X: Global eXchange series.
Appearance[]
This plane is the primary heavy-lifting cargo aircraft of the American military in 2020. It has an excellent speed for a transport vehicle of such type, greatly surpassing comparable Russian aircraft. While not as large as URGA U45 Albatros, it can still carry up to 4 main battle tanks or a battalion of infantry in its hull.
C170s were used extensively for providing tactical drops behind enemy lines during the Kyungastani campaign, while the primary landing operation was conducted by sea. They were crucial for upholding USMC supply chain afterwards.
Performance[]
It's a large cargo plane, so it's obviously not maneuverable, while having a decent speed for its kind. It's not armored physically or protected by shields, so it can be shot down with a single missile. Therefore, USMC C170s are often escorted with an appropriate jet fighter support.
