Walkthrough[]
After liberating yet another village and military base, Rico gets another call from Charlotte.
Hey Rico. This should be interesting. I discovered a massive convoy today escorting some kind of different MV Carrier. It looked... unlike anything I've ever seen before.
Hmm... I wonder if it was transporting something. I'm going to take a look.
Suit yourself. But be warned, the convoy is heavily guarded. Get whatever's in the MV Carrier, or even better, bring the MV Carrier back.
Will do.
Using your parachute, go to the outskirts of Phant.
Objective: Spy on the convoy[]
While it may seem like the convoy has been constantly moving, the game designed it so it would begin at Phant.
Follow the convoy, but be careful, for if you get seen, the whole convoy stops and starts firing on your position. 100+ guns is not healthy for Rico. Alternatively, you could try and hijack the MV Carrier during that time, but it only has so much armor plating.
Regardless of what you do, follow the convoy.
After about a minute of following, the convoy will stop at a checkpoint. That is your chance to grapple to the Carrier and steal it.
Charlotte will contact you and tell you to bring it to Housgoub.
After you get there, the military stops following if they weren't killed ahead of time. Rico opens up the trunk.
Hmm... a modified Carrier for this... yellow substance?
This is no ordinary yellow substance Rico. This is Mriyum. It is a very weird substance exclusive to this island. In liquid form, it just as normal. If things are thrown at it however, it hardens. Really quickly. Here, I'll show you.
Charlotte pulls out a pistol and shoots the mriyum. Almost immediately, the shape changes into a solid form and the bullet ricochets off.
Hmm... interesting.
Yes. Back when I was in the North Rusanian Military we used this to make us invincible. Imagine a tank with Mriyum shielding. It's almost unbreakable. However, there is one flaw.

Hey you. Fetch me a bucket of water.
Yes commander!
A bucket of water is retrieved and Charlotte dumps it on the mriyum. Almost immediately it begins to dissipate.
Water. How is it weak to it?
I don't know Rico. All I know is this stuff is useless against water.
Well... how about that. Why don't we make water cannons then?
We can't. There is only one river flowing into the interior of North Rusan and that is guarded by the biggest fortress in North Rusan.
Hmm... time to take it down then.
