There's very few activity and even less at this associated "discussions" page.
Long enough ago, every nation of Europe had a monarch.
The way videos are added creates an "embedded player". That means that the video still links from youtube.
And if you can find an url to the video, you can add the embedded player it to your own profile page.
I got the reference for your reply, but the point is that only I got it. Other users will never know of this.
Well at least this place gives a notification of there having been a reply. But that doesn't invite potential new people from the wiki to join the discussion. How would they even know that there's an interesting discussion?

Has anyone played it, or previous tropico games?
The chat has been enabled for like 4 minutes now (since just before my previous post here).
Well?
Oh, right.
So then how would that whole roleplay thing work exactly? Would you assume the identity of some fictional civilian/faction person?
What was this NAIM thing again?
Also, there's not much need for a vote, you could just ask for the chat to be enabled.
471 x 115 pixels. Done. Wikia automatically fades the left edge of it. I had to cut a little away from the top and bottom of the picture, because that artwork is a bit taller when resized to 471 pixels wide.
What about it?
Just tried it. The mountains alone are really lame looking.
We'll just have to wait for Kronos.
Conversion alone only brings it down from 3.6 MB to about 700 kilobytes. I tried to then just resize it to 52% to make it exactly 300 kilobytes, but wikia will not stretch it to normal size. That means only about 1/4 of the top left would be covered, or it would turn into a repeating pattern. Then if I try to resize it myself to make it big enough again, it'll become well over 300 kB. The only way I could do it is by convert to jpeg, then resize to 30%, then resize again to 300%. The result is extremely pixelated, with large pixels.
Kronos has some special program that he used to create the JC wiki background.
Or I guess there's one more thing I could try: I could resize it to something and then add a large white blank space in the middle. Previously my plan was to make the wiki content area a bit transparent (like now), so the middle of the picture would be visible too.
I'd use something epic, like the mountain and castle artwork from the Just Cause 3 article, but it becomes very terribly pixelated, if I try to downgrade it to the 300 kilobyte limit.
Kronos should have some way of doing it better, with out a massive downgrade.
I hate this "discussions" BS. I didn't even know this thread existed. And How could I have? And it's impossible to just link to things from here, despite every "discussion" site being specifically associated with a specific wiki. Example: [[Sakaku]]
As far as I know, it's impossible to have different backgrounds. However, I'm sure you could still get people in the right mood by skillful use of pictures. Example: See what the picture does to the just-cause-fan-fiction.wikia.com/wiki/Info_Desk
